Publication Ethics

Commitment to the highest standards of publication ethics and editorial integrity remains central to the International Journal of Medical and Health Science published by Epublication Services. Principles and best practices established by COPE are followed throughout all stages of the editorial and publishing process.

Transparency, academic responsibility, and accountability guide scholarly publishing practices. Contributions from authors, reviewers, and editorial board members support the maintenance of high editorial standards and strengthen the overall quality of published research across science, technology, engineering, agriculture, and interdisciplinary fields.

Peer Review Model and Editorial Oversight

A double-blind peer review process is applied to all submissions, ensuring that the identities of both reviewers and authors remain confidential. This approach promotes objective evaluation and reduces potential bias.

Assessment of manuscripts is carried out by qualified subject experts selected based on their expertise and relevance to the submitted work. Editorial review may also be conducted to ensure clarity, structure, methodological accuracy, and compliance with publication standards.

Handling of Ethical Concerns and Research Misconduct

All allegations of research misconduct are treated with seriousness and evaluated through a structured process aligned with internationally recognized ethical guidelines.

Research misconduct may include:
  • Duplicate or overlapping publication
  • Plagiarism or unattributed reuse of content
  • Fabrication, falsification, or manipulation of data

Concerns raised by reviewers, readers, or editors are examined through an internal review process. Authors may be contacted to provide clarification or supporting documentation where necessary.

Confirmed cases of misconduct may result in manuscript rejection, corrections, or retraction. Where clarification remains insufficient, referral to relevant institutional authorities may be undertaken.

Authorship Changes and Contributor Responsibility

Requests to modify authorship details are considered only under specific circumstances and are handled in accordance with recognized ethical publishing standards.

Authorship change requests may include:
  • Addition or removal of an author before publication
  • Addition or removal of an author after publication

Processing of such requests requires a written explanation along with formal confirmation from all listed authors. In the absence of agreement, the editorial process may be suspended until resolution is achieved.

For published articles, unresolved disputes may be referred to appropriate academic or institutional authorities for independent evaluation.

Commitment to Integrity and Accountability

Responsibility for maintaining the integrity of the scholarly record is shared among the editorial team, reviewers, authors, and the publisher. Good faith conduct, disclosure of conflicts of interest, and adherence to accepted ethical standards are expected at all stages.

Through these practices, responsible research communication is promoted while strengthening trust within the global scholarly community.
